DESCRIPTION
Thousands of red and white clad locals and tourists from all over the world, crowd into the ancient square and surrounding narrow streets, making for a raucous, championship-winning atmosphere complete with spraying cava bottles. Unless you’re six feet tall, it’s far more awe-inspiring to get a bird’s eye view from the relative calmness of our balcony. At noon, the Mayor of Pamplona and the rocket lighter (yes, you read that correctly) step out onto the balcony and announce:
“Pamploneses, Pamplonesas, Viva San Fermín! Gora San Fermín!” which means “people of Pamplona, long live San Fermín!”
At the moment the rocket explodes into the sky, the square erupts, and the party is officially underway. From our balcony you’ll be able to get a direct view of the City Hall and the sea of red and white clad crowds in the plaza below
Experience the most unique San Fermin festival’s atmosphere from our balcony and enjoy enjoy a typical ‘almuerzo’ (brunch) and watch the crowd go wild at midday on 6th July.
